Gingelly Oil

Gingelly oil, also known as sesame seed oil, is prized worldwide for its culinary and medicinal properties. Rich in antioxidants and healthy fats, it reduces oxidative stress, fights inflammation, and supports cardiovascular health. It can also be applied to the skin to improve texture and elasticity.
Indian sesame oil (gingelly or til oil) is golden. East Asian sesame oils are commonly made with roasted/toasted sesame seeds, and are dark brown, with a different flavour.
It may be especially beneficial for acne-prone skin and acne scars.
